What is the baggage limit?
Checked-In / Hold Luggage
On Skybus flights the baggage allowance is 15kg (33lbs) per person. The maximum size permitted is 20" x 12" x 30" (50 x 30 x 75cm). For those passengers using a joint allowance, no single piece should weigh more than 20 kilos (44lbs).
Excess baggage is accepted on a space available basis only and is subject to a charge of £6.00 (5 Euro) per kilo. Excess luggage unable to be carried on your scheduled aircraft will be offloaded and will follow to your destination airport, where space allows, on the next available flight. Please note: excess baggage accepted on your outward journey will not be automatically accepted on your return journey.
Hand Luggage
Hand baggage is not permitted in Skybus aircraft cabins. However, a ladies 'small handbag' is allowed, as is an overcoat, small camera, binoculars or reading material. The following dimensions of 30cm x 15cm x 15cm should be used as a guide for a 'small handbag' etc. All other baggage will be treated as checked baggage and part of your free allowance. Please note that there are no overhead lockers or under seat storage on any of our aircraft.
Sharp objects such as knives, scissors, nail files or similar objects MUST NOT be carried in hand baggage. Any such items found in hand baggage will be confiscated.
Dangerous goods such as flammable liquids, explosives, corrosive, radioactive etc., CANNOT be transported by air therefore MUST NOT be loaded in your baggage. Passengers found carrying any of these items are liable to have their baggage and themselves offloaded from the flight.
Please note that large electronic items that exceed hand luggage dimensions (e.g. laptops, DVD players) will be treated as checked luggage and part of your free 15kg luggage allowance.
What is the check in time?
Passengers are requested to check-in 1 hour before scheduled departure time. Check-in will be closed 30 minutes before scheduled departure time. Passengers arriving after this time may be refused and will have to rebook for a subsequent flight if space available. There will be no refunds for passengers denied boarding through late arrival.
